Welcome to Haus Sonnenkogel! In the hamlet of Tschafein, with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains, our house sits at the entrance of the mountain resort Galtür. Our comfortable Apartment „Silvretta” on the second floor offers space for 4–5 people – the ideal retreat for your holiday in the Paznaun valley.
Whether summer or winter – everything is within easy reach. In summer, enjoy mountain hikes and trails, cycling tours, via ferrata and bouldering. In winter, look forward to skiing and cross-country skiing in the ski areas Silvapark (Galtür) and Silvretta Arena (Ischgl).
The mountain railways in Galtür are just 2 km away, Ischgl 7 km, Kappl 20 km and See about 30 km. The bus stops directly in front of the house – and many activities such as cross-country skiing trails, cycle paths and hiking routes start right at the doorstep.

Apiary
Our apiary is located at the edge of a wood, about 100 metres from the parking area to the Friedrichshafnerhütte. It provides space for up to six bee colonies.
Natural Honey
„Paznauner” natural honey is made from a rich variety of alpine flowers and is particularly pure – at our altitude (1680 m) no pesticides are used. The honey is harvested from the combs in early August.
Purely Organic
Filled in jars, you receive a completely organic product. Over time, quality honey crystallises and can be reliquefied by gently warming it to 40°C. A spoonful of honey a day is also an excellent natural remedy for hay fever!
